This place is an excellent little local cafe. Great coffee and food at good prices and really nice l, welcoming staff!
As for the numerous bad reviews on here, I would say, whether genuine or not, they are way off base in my experience. If you're unhappy with the offerings of a cafe or don't understand their decisions, try communicating and make an effort to understand before leaving reviews of this kind for a local hospitality business striving to offer great food service in an area that has very few unique dining options. If you're still not happy or don't agree with their choices, simply don't come back.
Spreading your negativity online may make you feel important for a very brief moment but it is simply ignorant, vindictive and petty and hurts the local community by limiting the options for businesses to grow. Coming from a hospitality background myself, I can completey understand the frustration of dealing with unreasonable expectations of hospitality customers.
Reading through some of these ridiculous reviews, I can only say that their comments seem to say a lot more about the people posting them than they do for the business they have targeted.
