A pleasant paved walk that extends quite far along Victoria Point. Great for taking the dog for a walk and the kids for a bike ride.
The park is quite expansive with a monorail which kids can pedal around on, swings, climbing equipment with slides alongside a few smaller items for younger children. There are a few picnic areas around the park, with an off leash unfenced dog park and toilet facilities nearby too.
A medium sized playground with plenty of shade, several slides and some balancing beams. There’s a few swings, and it’s located next to a large green field and the lake nearby.
A stunning beach with very fine sand. Dogs are not allowed on some parts of this beach, and it wasn't too clear regarding other parts. Very clean beach and a few small shallow areas when the tide is out which is great for little ones. A few nesting birds on one side of the beach area too.
This was a fascinating place to explore, with both new observatories and older buildings around the site, all within walking distance from each other. Tours are available on certain days but not necessarily needed. At the top there's a breathtaking views, a few biking tracks too and lots of kangaroos in the area.
