A neighbourhood classic for cheap and delicious Chinese dessert. Decent quality desserts and they are always served quickly. Unfortunately if you come later in the day, you’d find many menu items crossed off. Have been here numerous times where this has happened. During summer they have seasonal mango dessert options which are my favourite.
For dine in, seating can be a bit uncomfortable ie. seats here are more like a stool, and with no hangers on walls, during winter/fall patrons tend to sit with their jackets on.

We came here for dinner. Food unfortunately fell short of expectations. We ordered a few things on the menu, most were OK but a negative exception was the tomahawk steak (this was not an item on the menu, it was a special). The meat was surprisingly tough (I suspect perhaps it was a cheaper cut?) and it was cooked not to our preference. We had asked for medium rare but it came out to be rare. For the price ($100), I expected better. My favourite items was perhaps the complimentary bread and lemon meringue pie - those were amazing.
Service and environment was absolutely wonderful. Our water was constantly refilled, plates and utensils were frequently changed where it made sense, and table was cleaned every so often. The staff was not overbearing but at the same time, proactive and attentive - our waiter noticed we weren’t happy with the steak and came to check in for feedback. We voiced our concerns with the steak and was offered a lemon meringue pie on the house, which was kind of the restaurant.

Food was absolutely delicious, staff was attentive (great service) and food came quickly. However, I felt that everything is overpriced - for the price points, portions should be larger.
The “everything-on-it” udon (may not be exact name) was $29 pretax and tempura udon was $21. The spicy salmon roll is $18.50 for 6 pieces.
Definitely a good spot to visit if you’re craving quality udon but be prepared to pay more.
