This place is heaven on Berat! It’s like eating on your family reunions meals, like old time. Lili is a one kind of a force of nature!! The food is prepared in their own kitchen house, made with the love as it was your mother cooking!! And Lili what a great host, can’t forget his smile when he welcomed us downstairs!! This place doesn’t have price, go go go…

Lili is amazing! The food was the best we had in our trip so far. What we like when having dinner somewhere (besides the food quality) is to have a good time. Lili his hospitality is the best of the best. It’s like you are eating in someone’s home (backyard). He is kind and loving and really enjoys to serve you. Would recommend 1000% if you are in Berat. Be sure to make a reservation!

Best meal we had in Albania! Lili is such a wonderful host, always smiling, remembers everyone's name and you can't help but smile. The food is excellent, small choice on the menu which means the quality of each dish was fantastic. You do need to make a reservation at least a few days in advance though be warned! Absolutely worth the wait.

This is not just a restaurant. The word 'homemade' has a meaning. Lili is inviting you to their home and his wife is cooking for you. This is the most important thing to understand.

Once you know this, everything makes sense. You will have the best evening you had on your trip to Albania and you will eat the best food, best wine and best raki you can have. All thanks to Lili and his amazing family. The food, Lili and the connections you make with the other guests make this a unique experience.

Tout était très bon et goûteux. J'ai pris de la moussaka, l'agneau au yaourt et le xaxiki. La salle du haut climatisée a une jolie vue. C'est un restaurant familial et une bonne surprise de tomber de dessus dans la citadelle. Je conseille fortement.

The best meal I had in Albania! Lili was such a kind and fun guy with lots of charisma. The shared table was fun and the small restaurant made the meal a special experience. Next to that, the food was super delicious. If you eat one meal in Berat, make it this one.

Le serveur a souhaité me conseiller un plat typique de la région qui n’était franchement pas bon et qui m’a rendu malade toute la nuit. Je suis repartie avec une belle intoxication alimentaire…
Évidement, je déconseille fortement de manger dans ce restaurant.

Accueil très chaleureux, prix vraiment très doux pour une cuisine excellente, en tout cas pour ce que nous avons mangé. La salle du premier étage est climatisée ce qui est très appréciable à cette époque (4 août 2023).
La famille qui tient cet établissement est adorable.

Nous sommes venus fin juillet pour le dîner et il n’y avait plus aucune place dehors (il faut absolument réserver). Nous avons mangé à l’intérieur et tout était excellent. Le service adorable, et la cuisine tellement bonne ! De l’entrée au dessert, c’était parfait. Les aubergines farcies sont dingues. De nombreuses options végétariennes.
